NEW CULTURAL AND CREATIVE
CONVERSATIONS

For this second call for entrepreneurs, La Piscine, in partnership with the Quartier des spectacles Partnership, is seeking new cultural and creative propositions that will enable the Quartier des spectacles and its partners to engage in conversations with as many people as possible and trigger unexpected, entertaining and memorable moments!

These conversations will allow the Quartier des spectacles to:

  • to become better acquainted with its audiences in order to foresee future cultural proposals,

  • to improve the experience of the cultural offers and to ensure their relevance and broad scope,

  • to maintain an on-going engaged dialogue with the audiences and residents of the QDS to increase their sense of belonging and make the public space a real meeting and mediation place.

CHALLENGE N°1

BECOME BETTER ACQUAINTED WITH THE AUDIENCES OF THE QUARTIER DES SPECTACLES (QDS) IN ORDER TO DEVELOP FUTURE CULTURAL PROPOSALS

The Quartier des spectacles Partnership wants to better know its audiences (cultural consumers, residents, workers, ...) by engaging them in conversations to ensure a better understanding of their tastes and needs, to strengthen their participation in daily life of the neighborhood and ultimately generate a great experience for all!

In this case, we are looking for entrepreneurs able to answer at least one of the following questions:

  • How to engage in conversations to identify the tastes of QDS audiences and their motivations to come?

  • How to satisfy the multiplicity of needs expressed by the audiences, to measure their satisfaction and their motivations to return?

  • How to understand and interpret their appreciation of the content presented to anticipate future cultural offers?

  • How to maximize existing technological tools to capture and improve data intelligence and better interpret the diversity of audience flows?

Exemples of companies sought: artificial intelligence; deep learning; connected objects; hard/software support; massive data capture and analysis; voice; interactive installations; advertizing / communication; conversational marketing (MADTech); scenic arts; service design...

CHALLENGE N°2

INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE CULTURAL OFFER, ENSURE ITS DIVERSITY AND ITS BROAD SCOPE

The cultural offer in QDS is growing, diversified and spatially expanded. But abundance can also mean embarrassment of choice and confusion for a potential spectator who does not know who or what to look for.

In this case, we are looking for entrepreneurs able to answer at least one of the following questions:

  • How to avoid the saturation of a spectator by guiding him/her through a personalized programming?

  • How to accompany him/her in an ad hoc way during the events so that s/he lives an increased experience?

  • How to ensure that a visitor discovers theatrical offers while in an outside event and vice versa?

  • How to educate visitors and get them to (re) discover existing facilities in a new way?

  • How to establish a dialogue around a work in a natural, engaging and conversational way?

Exemples of companies sought: customizing an offer through artificial intelligence; distribution, socialization and curation platform; market places; connected objects; interactive installations; advertizing /  communication; MADTech; virtual reality; augmented reality; mixed reality; video; audio; projections; video mapping; entertainment...

CHALLENGE N°3

MAINTAIN A SUSTAINABLE DIALOGUE WITH THE "CITIZENS" OF THE QDS TO INCREASE THEIR SENSE OF BELONGING AND MAKE PUBLIC SPACE A REAL PLACE FOR MEETINGS AND MEDIATION

The constant evolution of the urban landscape redefines the place of the citizen and culture at the heart of the city. The PQDS, a central place in the heart of the city, wants to make its urban spaces more human and livable through the implementation of relevant and meaningful conversations, face-to-face or digital, strengthening commitment, mediation and appropriation by citizens and visitors alike.

In this case, we are looking for entrepreneurs able to answer at least one of the following questions:

  • How to activate the different "citizens" of the neighborhood (cultural consumers, residents, workers, students, ...) and facilitate their interactions in  respectful and sustainable relationships?

  • How can these citizens define and appropriate "their" QDS during busy or slow periods?

  • How to build the memory of the passage of artists and visitors in the District to constitute a lasting cultural footprint?

  • How to ensure nocturnal mediation and a balanced dialogue through the cultural offerings?

Exemples of companies sought: interactive scenic arts; interactive installations; distribution, socialization and curation platform; audio; voice; video; video mapping; urban design; immersive design; service design; cultural mediation; entertainment; advertizing / communication...
